Vestal, New York - Broome County Community Charities, Inc. is proud to announce the entertainment for the 11th annual DICK’S Sporting Goods Open. DICK’S Sporting Goods will host Grammy Award-Winning Group Bon Jovi as a part of their This House is Not for Sale Tour. The concert will take place green side following the completion of the first round of play on Friday, Aug. 18 on the McIntosh Sound stage.

This is the only scheduled Bon Jovi show this summer in Upstate New York or Northeastern Pennsylvania.

This is Bon Jovi’s first tour since the band’s 2013 Because We Can World Tour, which was their third tour in six years to be ranked the No. 1 top-grossing tour in the world (a feat accomplished only by The Rolling Stones previously). At the August performance, the iconic rock band will present anthems, fan-favorites, and new hits from their newly released 14th studio album, This House Is Not for Sale (Island/UMG).

“We are truly excited to welcome Bon Jovi to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open,” said Tournament Director John Karedes. “We are confident that this will be the biggest show to ever hit Broome County and we are proud to be hosting it at the 2017 DICK’S Sporting Goods Open.”

DICK’S Sporting Goods Open is celebrating the fourth year of our partnership with McIntosh as they sponsor the Soundstage for our Friday Night Concert. “We are honored to again be partnering with the DICK’s Sporting Goods Open. McIntosh has a proud history of involvement with legendary concerts and musical groups such as Woodstock and the Grateful Dead,” said Charlie Randall, President of McIntosh. “We’re delighted to welcome Bon Jovi to the Greater Binghamton area on the McIntosh Soundstage.”
