Rides and Midway
Main Event Amusements of Solvay NY provide the rides and midway for our Fair. The owners have more than 30 years of experience in mobile concessions and are members of the New York State Show Peoples Association and the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs. Main Event Amusements is proud to provide quality family amusements. They strive to provide our guests with a small amusement park atmosphere and all of their employees wear Main Event Amusements show shirts so they are easy to find.
American Fireworks are one of the largest fireworks display companies in the north east. With over five generations of fireworks experience, they offer a unique combination of old world traditions and modern technology. Their master pyrotechnician will provide the fireworks display that closes our Fair.

Conklin Forks United Methodist Church "Willing Workers Happy Pie Hour" is held every fourth Friday of the month from 6:00 -8:00 PM at the Church. All pies are home-made by Church members. Proceeds are used towards improvements for the Church. Their delicious pies will be available for sale at the Fair - whole pies or by the slice.
Empirical Paranormal was established in 2004 and is a leader in the paranormal field. They are a Binghamton based paranormal investigation team that services many counties. They do investigations, presentations, lectures, events, counseling, and so much more.

Under Our Health & Wellness Tent
Action for Older Persons assists clients with Medicare issues and plan selection. They conduct the Long Term Care ombudsman program, an advocacy program for those in nursing homes and help people choose long term care plans. They also assist people in learning technology.
American Red Cross Southern Tier Chapter will display information and provide free literature to promote individual and household preparedness to make sure you are as prepared as you possibly can be for potential disasters and other emergencies.
Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth a nonprofit child welfare agency working with children and families since 1886. Many of their programs and services are community, home, and school based and include foster care, group homes, family preservation and reunification, truancy and crisis prevention, and counseling (individual, group, family.)
Binghamton Vet Center provides free and confidential counseling services to combat veterans and their families. Those services include: PTSD, bereavement, depression and anxiety, anger management, military sexual trauma, family and marriage counseling and more.
Broome County Office for Aging helps seniors, caregivers and professionals by providing services and benefits that people need as they age. Services include adult daycare and caregiver services, elder abuse outreach, foster grandparent program, nutrition counseling, Meals on Wheels, recreational opportunities, and much more.
Dr. Garabed A. Fattal Community Free Clinic sponsored by SUNY Upstate Medical Binghamton Clinical Campus was established in 1997. The population served are uninsured adults of the Southern Tier, Pennsylvania and visiting uninsured who are 18 years to 64 years old, who do not qualify for Veterans Benefits, Medicare, Medicaid or Government sponsored insurance. Open Thursday evenings at 225 Front Street, Broome County Health Department. They will be on grounds on Thursday and Friday.
Family Planning of South Central NY is a local non-profit health clinic specializing in reproductive and sexual health. Think you are not a candidate for their services. Think again! They offer birth control, annual exams for all genders, STD and pregnancy tests, cancer screenings and much more.
Fidelis Care offers free or low-cost comprehensive health insurance, including Medicaid Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, Child Health Plus, and products available through NY State of Health: The Official Health Plan Marketplace. Additionally, Fidelis Care offers Managed Long Term Care products for adults who qualify for nursing home care, but are capable of staying safely in their own homes with the right care and support.
Greater Binghamton Health Center NYS Office of Mental Health inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, including community support services and housing. They provide a therapeutic person centered approach to children, adults and their families.
Heart Centered Living is a cooperative of like-minded individuals whose focus is sharing from the heart for the heart through workshops, services and events.
Life Choices Center offers a safe confidential place for those facing an unwanted pregnancy to discuss their choices. They do not pressure clients or try to make a choice for them. They offer a non-judgmental listening ear and provide clients with accurate information and resources to help them make the best, most informed choice possible.
Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier helps to unite recipients of mental health services and their families with mental health professionals, service providers and advocates to create collaborations, generate action, and combat the devastating stigma of mental illness. Their mission is to enhance the lives of all residents in our community by the quality of mental health and wellness through advocacy, education and support.
YWCA of Binghamton ENCOREplus breast and cervical program provides mammograms and cervical screenings to uninsured and underinsured women in Broome and Tioga Counties. Also, Look for their "All Paws for a Cause" Dog Walk fundraiser Sunday, August 9, 10am-1pm Otsiningo Park.
Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network provides support and education for parents of infants & toddlers to improve pregnancy and birth outcomes and support the health and development of individuals and families. Other services include teen pregnancy prevention and risk reduction educational programming and support and advocacy for health insurance issues. They provide services regardless of one’s economic status.
Additional Vendors and Exhibitors
Adams Chainsaw Carvings creates custom chainsaw carvings and wood products for your home or business. Dave Adams will be doing a chainsaw carving exhibition throughout the Fair. Adams Carving will also be raffling off a large carving of a bear to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park Zoomobile The Binghamton Zoo was founded in 1875 and is the fifth oldest zoo in the country. The Zoomobile program is a mobile education tool that brings a variety of live animals and artifacts to your location.
Boy Scout Troop 83 The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with 2.7 million youth members and over 1 million adult volunteers. The BSA's goal is to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities and educational programs. BSA Troop 83 will be marching in our parade and "camping out" on the fairgrounds. They also will be collecting empty bottle and cans on grounds.
Bridgewater Church offers Sunday services with relevant teaching, casual dress and a live band, Community groups and a great Children's Ministry. The Church will be operating the Fair’s Free Kids’ Tent, offering games, fun activities, contests and prizes to children at no cost!
Broome Volunteer Emergency Squad is a not for profit volunteer based ambulance agency serving Broome County and the surrounding community since 1976. Their mission is to provide good quality care to all patients. This community minded organization provides ambulance and paramedic services to a number of local events, including the Conklin Fair.

They specialize in green construction.
Conklin Cycle Center has provided their customers with the best possible Motorcycles, ATV's and Side by Sides since 1975. They will display an array of recreational vehicles at the Fair.
Conklin Fair Committee, Inc. Our tent will feature Social Media, utilizing Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. It will be the base of operations for the paramedics of the Broome Volunteer Ambulance Service.
Conklin Veterans Memorial. This beautiful memorial to the men and women of Conklin who served in the military is located at the entrance to the fairgrounds. Bob Page, a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam and the driving force behind the memorial, will be on grounds to raise funds for permanent lighting at the site.
Conklin Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization staffed by members of the Conklin community they serve. They provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services (EMS) to the approximately 5,400 people living within the Town of Conklin. The Department operates the beer tent at the Fair, serving Coors Light and Yuengling on tap and Seagrams wine coolers. Boxed wine is also available.
Doxy's Horse Recovery, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity. They have an all volunteer staff and board of directors. Their mission is to recover, rehabilitate, and re-home equine. Doxy's is committed to educating the public about proper care, and responsibility of horses. Doxy's Horse Recovery, Inc. started out as a humane hobby in 2006. In that time Doxy's has successfully re-homed hundreds of horses.
Embrace Country Life is dedicated to the promotion of local farms in the Southern Tier of New York. Their website, EmbraceCountryLife.com, provides information on U-pick farms, farmers' markets, organic food, farm fun and much more
Face Painting by Tracy This one is self-explanitory. If you have been to the Fair in recent years you've seen her work. She does a great job - and kids love her!
Gideons International is an association of Christian business and professional men and wives located in 200 countries for the purpose of distributing bibles and testaments free of any charge. They have recently placed their 2 billionth scripture.
Great Lakes Golf Cars sales, service, rentals. They carry new and used golf cars for sale. Their rental fleet has a large selection of golf cars available for short-term or long-term rental including four and six passenger models. They will exhibit some of their customized cars. They donated the cars used in our parking lot to fairgrounds shuttle.
The Humane Society is an independent, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and finding homes for companion animals. They serve the community by sheltering animals, finding them homes, investigating reports of animal cruelty, providing educational programs and rescuing animals from threatening situations.
Infinity Dance is a local fun, family oriented dance studio for students ages 2.5 and up. In addition to providing information about their studio, they will also be selling hair flowers, tutus and key chains. They will be doing a dance exhibition on stage on Saturday.
Jimmy J's Avian Rescue Center, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non profit whose mission includes; education, recovery, rehabilitation and re-homing of parrots. They will be exhibiting birds on Thursday and Friday evening, and walking the grounds with birds on Saturday evening.
Jim’s RC -This hobby shop carries stuff for pretty much all things radio control, plus they have a radio control car track outside their store at 70 Chenango Bridge Road in Binghamton. Jim’s RC will be presenting the Aerial Shows at the Fair, as well as conducting radio control car races on Thursday and Saturday.
Lamb to Loom gathers together to explore the fiber arts. They offer a wide array of classes and plenty of opportunity for hands on learning. The group meets monthly on the first Saturday, 10am-2pm at the Unitarian Universal Church on Riverside Drive, holding demonstrations and/or classes every month. Their focus areas are spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting and felting.
Monica’s Heart, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to placing retired racing greyhounds into loving homes. Since their inception in 1996, they have placed over twelve hundred retired racers. They will participate in our parade and exhibit on grounds from noon until 3:00 PM on Saturday.
New York Army National Guard recruiting station will be providing information on requirements and benefits of joining the Army National Guard. They will be bringing their popular Rock Climbing Wall on Thursday and Friday.
Nyala Farm Alpacas offer incredible support on genetics, fiber arts and care. At Nyala Farm you will get much more than geat alpacas. They are committed to their clients success!
Ronald McDonald House Charities will be on the fairgrounds raising funds on Saturday from noon until 6:00 with the Hamburgler. Ronald himself will be appearing in our parade on Thursday. Helping a sick child fight their illness takes a big enough emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it all almost too much to bear. RMHC can help address those problems, whether they involve housing that’s near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city, or even getting basic medical and dental care in a vulnerable community.
Total Freight Solutions, LLC is a licensed and bonded freight shipping and trucking company running freight hauling business. They are America's premier over-the-road flatbed carrier. They will be on grounds recruiting drivers and providing information about their company.
United Healthcare Community Plan free or low-cost health insurance information will be distributed. They will also be able to do "on-site" applications through NY State of Health.
United States Army recruiting center will be providing information on requirements and benefits of joining the Army.
United States Marines (Saturday only) recruiting services will be providing information on requirements and benefits of joining the Marines.
United States Navy recruiting station will be providing information on requirements and benefits of joining the Navy.
