National Drive Electric Week is this week and Triple Cities Makerspace is hosting a local event for the Greater Binghamton Area, featuring the KIA Soul EV. If you have ever had any interest in learning more about Electric Cars, this event is for you.
They will have test drives, static displays, hands on activities, and much more. Also expected is participation from renewable energy companies, utility companies, and anyone else that is part of the electric vehicle eco-system.
The goal of this Triple Cities Makerspace event is to get people excited about modern EV’s and Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles while giving them the opportunity to get up close and personal with them, as well as allowing test drives in some cases. It’s also a chance to help inform the public about electric vehicles, like any new technology there are still some prevalent misconceptions and lots of questions that the public has.
