Opening week for our friends at Animal Adventure has been going fairly well, considering the higher than normal crowds thanks to all the attention from World Media. If you are visiting this week and have not been to the park before - unseasonably higher temperatures are expected for the next few days.
These may seem like common sense, but it will make a big difference for you. Be sure to wear light, yet comfortable footwear and clothing. It can get quite hot at the park, but there are shaded areas, buildings to go in to and they always have water and other beverages available.
If you are driving, you may also want to consider using the shuttle services that have been set up, leave the driving to them!
As a reminder about the shuttle service -
BC Transit will have shuttles running from Nathaniel Cole Park to Animal Adventure this week, starting at 10:30 AM and running until 5 PM. Double check with them to verify they are running the day you want to attend.
This service is provided free of charge as a courtesy from Animal Adventure!
